Do N95 Face Masks Offer Effective Protection Against Wildfire Smoke?

There are also N99 masks (which block 99 percent of particles) and N100 masks (which block 99.97 percent of particles). The particles in wildfire smoke are the size of 1 micron, which means that you’ll be protected from these harmful and toxic particles by wearing the N95 mask.
